Father bit baby 57 times, court is told
A baby, Tyra Henry, aged 21 months, was battered, bruised and bitten 57 times by her father within days of going to live with him, a jury at the Central Criminal Court , London was told yesterday.
During a period of two days she suffered brain damage and a fractured skull it was alleged.
Her father, Andrew Neil, aged 20, an unemployed electrician of Bonham Road, Brixton, south London, denies murdering her on September 1 last year. But his counsel Mr. Ashe Lincoln, told the jury that Neil would admit biting the baby.
