OLD BAILEY STAFF CELEBRATE OVER 100 YEARS OF SERVICE
Four members of the Old Bailey Security Team celebrated their joint 102 years of service by being made Freemen of the City of London.
On the 7th of December , 2007 , S.F. , B.C. , J.B. and J.M. ( initials used for security reasons ) received the Freedom of the City of London , marking the Old Bailey centenary year with 102 years of service between them. Their applications were supported by the then Sheriffs , Mr. Richard Regan and Alderman David Lewis, the current Lord Mayor of London.
The ceremony was conducted by Murray Craig , Clerk of the Chamberlain's Court, who made it an
enjoyable and memorable occasion for both the staff and their families. The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Charles Henty , the Secondary and Under-Sheriff of the City of London, who is in charge of the administration of the Old Bailey building.
